Welcome to Felixstowe Salvation Army

Hi! Let me welcome you to our church website. My wife Kathleen and I are the Captains (Ministers) of the Salvation Army in Felixstowe. We have been at the corps (church) since August 2005 and before that we were in Fakenham, Norfolk. We have three lovely daughters who are very much part of our ministry here in this lovely seaside town. Although South African by birth we have been in the United Kingdom for 13 years now and love the country (but not so sure about the weather!!).

Our church is a thriving place of worship. We have around 150 people who worship with us on a Sunday morning. In our worship services we offer praise and adoration to God for all he has done for us through his Son Jesus Christ.

If you've never been to church before, don't worry! We have people who I believe are 'just looking'. We have people worshipping with us that are brand new to faith, and then we have people who have been Christians for many years.

Due to the mix of people we have in our congregation, we aim to provide a variety of events, group meetings and styles of worship to meet the needs of those who worship with us. If you are ever in the area on a Sunday, we'd love to see you. In addition, for those who live locally, some of our weekday activities might be of interest to you or your family.
