2010 Christmas Presents Appeal

From the 20 November until 18 December 2010, members of the public are invited and encouraged to donate gifts for children, families, older people and the homeless. The gifts will be then be distributed to those in need in local communities.

Over many years, millions of children, young people, families and older people have already benefited from the gifts donated to The Salvation Army. By giving a gift to our Christmas Present Appeal you can make a real difference in someone's life at Christmas!

How the appeal works:

Is there more to life than this?

Come along to the Alpha course and find out.
Two new courses will be commencing mid-way through May, as follows:

Self-Denial 2010

The money that is donated through Self-Denial is not just about the short-term need but about giving countries hope into the long-term, by pro-actively carrying out projects and providing the basic elements (i.e. building, training and vehicles infrastructure) Partner countries need to build a foundation for their work to continue and grow into the future.

Shoeboxes Bursting With Joy!

Operation Christmas Child 2009

Once again we are working with Samaritan's Purse to make a difference at Christmas for deprived children in Eastern Europe.  We invite you to be part of this demonstration of Gods love and make this Christmas Special for just one child.
