Sunday School

The Sunday School has different age groups. Our Primary class is for children aged between 3 and 6 (or year 1 at school).  The children enjoy many different activities each week including a Bible story, singing, craft and juice and biscuits!

At the age of 7 (or year 2 at school) the children move on to Juniors.  We do many different activities – in fact anything that will help us learn more about Jesus!  We also do all the usual things like singing, quizzes and craft activities.

We firmly believe that children should have fun when they come into our church.

Consequently, we also run during the year a holiday club (usually during the October half term) and activity afternoons (table tennis, air hockey, table football, craft, etc) during the summer holidays. Please consult the website for forthcoming events.

We have a children’s choir and brass band, both of which have a weekly practice.  Most Sunday mornings, our young people’s choir sing in our worship service.

So, if you would like to come along and see for yourself, please do so!  You would be most welcome each Sunday from 10.30am to 11.45am – we’d love to see you!

The running of any activity relies upon many other people and so a team of volunteers ensure that the Sunday School is well looked after.  Each volunteer has a current CRB check and has attended Safe and Sound (child protection) training.
