Dance Lessons

Dance teacher Vera Barclay will be delivering a talk and demonstration on Friday evening, July 23rd, in the Community Hall at 7pm. 

Following on from this, she plans to start a six-week ballroom dancing course for couples, commencing Friday July 30th.

Dedicated Divas

This Ladies Choir will present a program of religious and secular songs.

£3 entry and for children under 11 it will be free.

TWAM 'Tools with a Mission'

TWAM (Tools witha Mission) are working to help provide some schools in Africa with individual 'Scholar Packs' for the children to help with their learning.  If you would like to help with this project and fill a wallet with listed items, please see Libby Winton or Sheila Baker. 

The items required for the wallet should cost no more than £4 and it is requested that a donation of £2 to be included to help with shipping and distribution etc.  Filled wallets to be returned by 6th June. Thank you.

Self-Denial 2010

The money that is donated through Self-Denial is not just about the short-term need but about giving countries hope into the long-term, by pro-actively carrying out projects and providing the basic elements (i.e. building, training and vehicles infrastructure) Partner countries need to build a foundation for their work to continue and grow into the future.

Salvation Army Teams in Haiti Provide Food and Medical Aid

ALTHOUGH severely suffering from the effects of the 7.0 earthquake that devastated much of Haiti a week ago The Salvation Army in that country has been fully mobilised in reaching out to help others. The initial response has been aimed at helping people survive. This life-saving effort concentrates on getting food, water and shelter to as many people as possible and has involved more than 700 Salvation Army personnel from Haiti.

What are Town Pastors?

 Town Pastors, working in pairs, wearing bright distinctive jackets and headgear, are Christian volunteers from local churches who will soon be out in the town centre of Felixstowe most Friday and Saturday nights being a positive influence on the streets and providing help and support to vulnerable people.
