Welcome from the Captains
Welcome to our website. My name is Allister and I, together with my wife Kathleen, run the work of The Salvation Army here in Felixstowe. Although we are South African by birth, we have lived in this country since 1994. The lovely town of Felixstowe has been our home for the past four years, together with our three young daughters. We have enjoyed leading the corps (church) here, meeting new people and being a part of the Felixstowe community.
Our aim as a Christian church is to introduce people to Jesus and encourage them to love Him, worship Him and serve Him.
Visitors to our corps often say that ours is a warm and welcoming fellowship. Why not come along and decide for yourself. You don’t need to be a member or wear a uniform to attend. Sunday services are at 10.30am (for Family Worship) and at 5.30pm (for a more reflective time of worship). If this is not possible then please browse our website and take a look at the other events, which may be of interest to you.
May the Lord bless you today with his love and peace.
Captain Allister Versfeld
