WHO WE ARE

First and foremost, The Salvation Army is a Christian church. Our beliefs are firmly based on the Bible and we are motivated by our love of Jesus to show that love in a practical and caring way. In the UK we are one of the main providers of social and welfare services.

The Salvation Army is an international church, active in more than 120 countries.

THE SALVATION ARMY IN FELIXSTOWE

The Salvation Army has been part of the Felixstowe community for 125 years, not only as a church but as a source of help and support for local people.

Through our Community Services Programme we continue to respond to people's needs in a way that we hope shows respect for each person's individuality and beliefs.

We work closely with other agencies and groups who share our commitment to improving the quality of life for people living in Felixstowe and the surrounding area.

For more than 20 years we have been involved in the recycling of donated furniture within our community.

We have recently revamped this service to better respond to the needs of those we are aiming to help.
