Coffee Break (English Conversation Group) (held during school term)

 Coffee Break

(English Conversation Group)

Coffee Break is a conversation group for women who do not have English as their first language.

The group is run by volunteers who aim to make the lessons informative and enjoyable in a safe, relaxed and friendly setting where ladies can gain confidence and improve their spoken English and their understanding of the language.

The topics covered are very varied and all the activities are tailored to meet individual needs and provide opportunities to work one-to-one with a volunteer as well as encouraging group participation and discussion.

Programmes run for 10 weeks during term time and the sessions take place on Thursdays from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Salvation Army.  The cost is £1 per week.  A free creche may be available.
