Coffee Break (English Conversation Group)

 Coffee Break

(English Conversation Group)

Coffee Break is a conversation group for women who do not have English as their first language and want to improve their English conversation skills.

Programmes run for 10 weeks during term time and take place every Thursday between 10:00 and 12:00 here at The Salvation Army. The cost is £1 per week. If you have children we provide a free crèche.

The aim is to provide a safe and accepting environment for ladies of all nationalities to practice speaking English along with learning about British and local culture.

Our volunteers are described as friendly and helpful. They work with you in a small group and can offer 1-to-1 help. Each week there are different topics and activities which include getting to know Felixstowe, festivities, and visitors to the library. At the end of the course there is a party and certificates of attendance.

If you are interested please phone the church office on 01394 276502
