Sounds of the Seaside by Felixstowe Salvation Army

47:23 minutes (6.11 MB)

Sounds of the Seaside

This recording was originally made in late 1978 in Long Playing record format to commemorate the Band's first ever visit to Germany in March 1977. The music is either composed or arranged by S.A. composers. The initial march ‘Collaroy ‘ takes  its name from a seaside estate on the outskirts of Sydney, N.S.W., bequeathed to The Salvation Army. Barrie Bolt's association with music camps at Collaroy brought about this composition incorporating the children's song 'Yes Jesus loves me'.
